  1. v2.26.0

    minor release

Shared mailboxes, delegates, and a menu that follows your role

Teams can now share mailboxes, give someone access to theirs, or hand one over completely, and choose which senders receive mail. Everyone sees only the pages their role allows, and this release brings a round of fixes and security updates.

  2. v2.25.0

    minor release

Sign-up codes for numbers outside India, and a smoother phone sign-in

Numbers outside India now get a sign-up code too, password-reset texts arrive as their own message, and approving a sign-in from the app takes you straight to your dashboard.

  3. v2.24.0

    minor release

Sign in with a passkey, and take your data with you

Sign in with a passkey alone, reset a forgotten password by text, get phone codes as SMS, and download your data or delete your account yourself.

  4. v2.23.0

    minor release

A preview for every template, and faster image grids

Templates made outside the editor now get a picture on their card, and image grids load a small version of each image so they fill in faster.

  5. v2.22.1

    patch release

New mail arrives on its own

Your Mailbox and the Mailtr app now update the moment a message arrives, and the app sends push notifications to your phone.

  6. v2.22.0

    minor release

Import a CSV straight into a list or company

Fill a list or a company from a spreadsheet in one step. Everyone in the file ends up in it, whether they were already in your CRM or not.

  7. v2.21.0

    minor release

Mailtr on your phone, and sign-in that opens on your primary method

The Mailtr app for iPhone and Android is in testing: your mail, campaigns, contacts and library in a design built for one hand. Sign-in on the web now really does open on the two-step method you made primary.

  8. v2.20.0

    minor release

Choose your primary sign-in method, and steadier dropdowns

If you've turned on more than one two-step verification method, you can now choose which one sign-in asks for first. Dropdown menus across the app line up with their field and close cleanly with Escape, and the Resubscribe link in newsletter emails works again.

  9. v2.18.0

    minor release

Image folders, keyboard shortcuts in My Library, and bigger uploads

Group your images into folders, the same as templates. Images, templates, fonts and themes open full screen now answer to single keys, with a keyboard button that lists them. Uploading a batch of images works again however large the batch, the sign-in screens share the website's header, and mailtr.co shows your Dashboard button reliably.

  10. v2.19.0

    minor release

The Mailbox gets its own address, and Escape closes dialogs again

The Mailbox now opens at mail.mailtr.co, an app of its own you can keep in a tab beside Mailtr, and you stay signed in. app.mailtr.co is now just the app: it opens on your dashboard, and the website's pages open on mailtr.co. Pressing Escape closes dialogs again.

  11. v2.17.0

    minor release

A new mailtr.co, and Mailtr moves to app.mailtr.co

mailtr.co is now a redesigned website of its own, with plans you can compare feature by feature, a public Marketplace, a blog you can respond to, and open roles you can apply for. Mailtr itself moves to app.mailtr.co, and links to the old address bring you there. Long lists now load every item, and the editor gives variables a tab of their own.

  12. v2.16.0

    minor release

Fonts and themes full screen, and Mailtr made for your phone

Fonts and themes now open full screen, with a sample email to see them in use and editing right on the page. My Library and the Marketplace work properly on a phone, with the buttons you need pinned within reach of your thumb. Your light or dark mode now follows you to every device, and lists, searches and headers look and behave the same everywhere.

  13. v2.15.1

    patch release

Your organisation, working as one team

Several places in Mailtr still treated an organisation's campaigns, senders and sending limits as if they belonged to whoever happened to click. Sending from an organisation now uses the organisation's plan, owners and teammates can follow any campaign the organisation sends, and a sender one colleague verifies can be used by everyone.

  14. v2.15.0

    minor release

Folders, an Archive, and more private email

My Library can now group templates into folders and put ones you're done with into an Archive instead of deleting them, with your categories as tabs above the list. Images in the emails you receive now load through Mailtr, and several library and mailbox display problems are fixed.

  15. v2.14.0

    minor release

    Templates that fill themselves in

Until now, variables only really worked in text. A {{link}} typed into a button disappeared the next time you opened the template, images couldn't use variables at all, and an order with five lines needed five blocks. Now every button and image can use variables. A block can repeat once for each item in a list, and any block can be set to show only for the recipients it applies to. Logos also keep the exact size you give them in every inbox. Two new blocks, Logo and Product list, give you a starting point, and Preview fills everything in with sample data you choose.

  16. v2.13.5

    patch release

You stay where you left off

Coming back to Mailtr after a while could drop you on the public homepage instead of the page you were on — still signed in, but out of the app, and in the editor that took an unsaved design with it. A brief connection problem could do worse and end the session outright. Both are fixed: Mailtr now waits until it knows who you are before deciding where to put you, and treats a connection problem as a connection problem rather than as a reason to sign you out. The editor's "Session expiring in 1 minute" prompt has been retired along with them.

  17. v2.13.4

    patch release

Stronger safeguards around the images you upload

This release is maintenance rather than new features, and there is nothing you need to do. Mailtr is now stricter about the images it opens: it checks what a file actually contains against the format it claims to be, and only ever processes the picture formats it supports. We have also brought the third-party components Mailtr is built on up to their current patched versions. Your library, your uploaded images and your compression settings are all unaffected — everything looks and behaves exactly as it did before.

  18. v2.13.3

    patch release

Incoming email arrives again — and reaches the right inbox

For around ten hours on 3 September, email sent to your Mailtr addresses was accepted by our mail server but never reached your inbox. A routine update to the mail server changed how it hands messages on to Mailtr, and the hand-off silently stopped — every message was still being stored safely, so nothing was lost, and all of it has since been delivered. Fixing that also fixed something older: a message that reached you only through the envelope — because you were BCC'd, or it came through a forwarding alias or a mailing list — arrived with no record of which of your addresses it was for, so it could not be matched to your inbox and was quietly set aside. The mail server now hands every message to Mailtr with its original recipient attached, and if Mailtr is briefly unavailable it holds the message and retries instead of giving up.

  19. v2.13.2

    patch release

A CSV import now shows up in Contacts

Importing contacts from a CSV reported success — a progress bar, then a "N contacts imported" notification — and left the Contacts list exactly as it was. The rows were being saved without an organization on them, and every contact screen filters by organization, so nothing an import created could be reached from anywhere in the app. Columns were also going missing in silence: the wizard read your file in the browser while the server read it again with a different parser, so the two disagreed about your column names and any mapping that missed was skipped without a word. Your file is now read once, by the server, and the mapping step is built from the columns it actually found, so what the preview shows is what imports. The wizard also refuses a mapping with no email column instead of finishing as a complete import of nobody, and warns before you start if the file is larger than your plan has room for.

  20. v2.13.1

    patch release

Templates stop getting stuck in review

The automated check that looks over a template before it publishes was giving different answers on different runs, so a design with nothing wrong in it could clear one attempt and be held on the next with byte-identical content. Anything it could not fetch — an image on your own CDN, a slow host, a file over the size limit — counted against you the same way. Both are fixed: the check has to point at something specific before it holds anything, it answers the same way every time for the same design, and an image we cannot reach goes to our team to look at while your template publishes. A held or declined template also stays editable now, every save goes through, and the first save puts it back into draft so you can fix it and publish again. While an edit of yours is in progress, the card keeps a Use published version action, because that version is still live and still sendable until you replace it.

  21. v2.13.0

    minor release

    Your address, your call

Every campaign footer used to print your organisation's postal address, and a campaign would not send at all until a street address was on file — so if you work from home, publishing it to your whole list was the price of sending a newsletter. It is now a switch in Organization Profile, off unless you turn it on, and nothing blocks a send while it is off. Turn it on where a market you mail into asks for one; a PO box or registered virtual mailbox is accepted, so it need not be where you live. Emails sent through the API or SMTP relay also stop showing raw placeholder text in the footer, their unsubscribe links now work, and a message sent to several people with an unsubscribe link goes out individually so nobody sees the rest of the list.

  22. v2.12.0

    minor release

Images, at the size they deserve

Clicking an image in My Library or the marketplace used to open a small modal that showed a thumbnail of it. It now opens a full-screen gallery: the picture as large as your screen allows, arrow keys and a thumbnail strip to walk the whole grid, and an info panel with the format, size, resolution and — on something you bought — its price and rating. Animated GIFs in that strip hold still until you point at one, so only the image you opened moves. The upload dialog's three quality options now produce genuinely different files, and each one shows you its real size before you commit. Cropped images are saved to your library rather than embedded in the design, which is what makes them arrive in the inbox. Purchased and Wishlist finally explain themselves when they're empty instead of showing a bare illustration.

  23. v2.11.0

    minor release

Things stay where you put them

Settings used to scroll as one piece, taking the title, the tabs and even the close button with it. Every settings screen and every dialog now splits into a header that stays and a body that scrolls. Alongside that, the CRM pages stop hiding where your permissions end — an action your role doesn't cover is shown locked with the reason — and the contact and company forms catch a bad phone number or a duplicate email address on the step you type it rather than on submit.

  24. v2.10.0

    minor release

You decide what an image costs

Uploading an image now stops to show you what each quality option really produces — the encoded size, the dimensions, and the image itself side by side — before anything is stored. Animated GIFs are supported for the first time, and in the editor a block can finally be dragged into a container or a column instead of landing beside it.

  25. v2.9.3

    patch release

What you design is what arrives

The editor now draws your email from the very HTML that gets sent, so spacing, borders, alignment and colours match in the inbox instead of shifting on the way out. The compliance footer is visible and editable in the design rather than appearing only after you send, custom fonts finally load in previews and on the canvas, and every template already in your library has been re-rendered to pick all of this up.

  26. v2.9.1

    patch release

    Emails that fit a phone

Side-by-side columns now stack into a single readable column on phones, previews finally show you the layout your recipients get, and a new Mobile padding control lets you line blocks up once they stack.

  27. v2.9.0

    minor release

Roles decide what your team can do

Access is no longer set one switch at a time. Five built-in roles ship with your organisation, you can clone any of them into a custom role, and assigning that role is all it takes to give a member exactly the access they need.

  28. v2.8.0

    minor release

Passkeys, live mailbox & longer sign-ins

Sign in and clear two-factor with passkeys, watch your mailbox refresh on its own, and stay signed in for longer — plus fixes to template publishing and organisation invites.

  29. v2.7.1

    patch release

Editor links, reliable image cropping & subdomain support

Richer text-editing with inline links and colour controls, plus fixes for image cropping, subdomain setup, and smoother template publishing.

  30. v2.7.0

    minor release

Sharper team permissions, cleaner dashboard, and more reliable inboxes

This release makes managing your team easier with a redesigned permissions experience, refines the dashboard and mobile layouts, and fixes several inbox and contact issues — plus behind-the-scenes hardening of verification codes.

  31. v2.6.0

    minor release

Custom Template Variables & Working Drafts

Templates can now declare their own variables — order ids, plan names, anything beyond contact fields — and be filled per send from a campaign, the REST API or SMTP. Published templates keep their edits in a working draft that you can now publish or discard straight from the template card, and a new What's New modal announces both in-app.

  32. v2.5.0

    major release

    Marketplace, Custom Fonts & Themes

A major platform release introducing a redesigned Marketplace with cart & checkout, custom fonts and themes, a reskinned Settings suite, and a full transactional email dashboard with logs, stats and bounce handling.
